I created a cabin retreat for 4 friends whom want a place to relax on the weekends and holidays. My cabin contains two bedrooms with 3 full size beds which means that it sleeps 6 people. I created a conjoined kitchen, dining room and relaxation area. The relaxation area contains a fireplace as it was requested. I also gave these clients an outdoor living area consisting of a deck which a swing. The cabin has a lovely view of a lake. The following pictures are of this cabin and its floor plan:

John Andrews
John Hamilton Andrews is an architect born in
Sydney, New South Wales on October 29, 1933. Andrews is an Australian architect
whom is well-known for his He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1956.
Afterwards he took an architecture program at Harvard University. When he
finished his course at Harvard, Andrews worked with John Parkin near Toronto
until about 1962. For the following five years, John Andrews was in charge of
the architecture program at the University of Toronto. In 1962 he also created
John Andrews Architects in Toronto. In 1973, Andrews brought his firm to his
hometown of Sydney and renamed it John Andrews International.
John Andrews’ style of architecture is Exhibitionist Modern. This is an architecture in which the buildings created the look of being intricate and advanced to society. John Andrews uses a lot of concrete and glass. His most famous building is the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada. This tower is created completely with concrete and many glass windows. This resembles the work of IM Pei. When comparing the buildings of IM Pei and John Andrews there are plenty of similarities.

However,
John Andrews differs greatly from the architectural styles of Antoni Gaudi and Frank
Lloyd Wright. Antoni Gaudi preferred a
Spanish style and Frank Lloyd Wright preferred an organic one. John Andrews is
completely different from both these with his love for modern architecture. Also
both Gaudi and Wright were obsessive over their projects. I’m not saying that
Andrews was any less of a hard worker, but he did not obsess over the buildings
he created.
In
the end, all four architects produced amazing structures that put their names
on the map. The different types of styles that these artists provided society
with have changed many people’s outlook on architecture.

Treehouse Project
Liridon and I created a tree house for small children to play in. It could also be for a group of tweens who need somewhere to hang out. There is a table and chairs. There is also a sofa and television in the tree house. The treehouse is 8 x 10 including the small deck. There are two entrance ways into the tree house; a spiral staircase and a ladder. The ladder goes up to the deck and the staircase goes into the tree house's floor. Our tree house is the perfect, safe hang out for young children and tweens.
